Bridge Girders

Armtec is a major manufacturer of precast concrete girders designed to support bridge decks and traffic loads. The durability, cost effectiveness and low-maintenance benefits of precast concrete have made it the dominant structural material for short- to medium-span bridges.

Armtec girders are manufactured under controlled factory conditions and then pre-stressed using post-tensioning cables. While pre-stressed beams are designed for single span applications, some girders (NU girders) can be post-tensioned to form continuous beams.

We manufacture NU girders, trapezoidal girders, I-girders and box girders. We also have the selection and solution capabilities to meet unique aesthetic, schedule, span or load requirements.
