Prestressed Hollowcore Slabs

Armtec’s prestressed hollowcore slabs are the product of choice for commercial, industrial, institutional and residential buildings that require sound barriers between floors. They also provide excellent fire resistance, making them suitable for hotels, upscale condominium complexes, schools and residential homes/garages.

The use of hollowcore products enhances speed of construction. Continuous voids in the hollow core slabs reduce weight and cost, and can conceal electrical or mechanical runs. Precast hollowcore flooring units provide long spans with cross-sections that reduce the height of a building, saving material costs.
