FAST System

Armtec is a distributor of the FAST (fixed activated sewage treatment) system – a low- profile septic system that requires 1/3 less tile field than traditional septic systems. On a per litre basis, FAST offers one of the most cost-effective and reliable treatment processes available.

How the FAST system works:
1. Wastewater from a house or commercial building drains into the underground tank.
2. Natural separation and settling processes occur in the first compartment (raw sewage collection chamber) of the tank.
3. A remote air blower (the system's only moving part) delivers large volumes of air into the heart of the system, creating vigorous water movement.
4. The biofilter provides the perfect environment for "friendly bacteria" to grow and multiply, removing more than 95% of contaminatescontaminants. Total nitrogen reduction (including nitrates) is more than 70%.
5. Clear, odourless, treated water is dispersed.
