April 4, 2007 - Armtec Infrastructure Income Fund announced that it has formed a Joint Venture to manufacture Bridge-Plate in South Korea. Armtec and Fixon will be equal shareholders in the proposed Joint Venture. Fixon, a corrugated steel pipe manufacturer, is located in Gwangyang City, South Korea and has been selling Armtec's Bridge-Plate in South Korea for the past three years. Armtec's capital investment will largely be applied towards the acquisition of Bridge-Plate forming machinery.

"This Joint Venture supports our longer term growth strategy by establishing operations in a high potential international market. The market size and demand for bridge structures in South Korea is significant and is expected to expand due to the unique topography and the continuing development of the country's road system," said Charles Phillips, President and Chief Executive Officer of Armtec Limited Partnership. "Fixon and Armtec have developed a strong relationship based on our focus on product innovation. This new investment will expand our geographic diversity, a key component of our long-term strategy. Furthermore, a licensing agreement between Fixon and Armtec has been proposed to share "technological know-how" between the parties as part of the transaction. We see this as beneficial to both parties as the Joint Venture progresses."

Armtec Acquires Exclusive Licence to Sell Concrete Arch Bridges in Canada
BEBO Concrete Arch Structures
Armtec has acquired an exclusive licence from BEBO Arch of Canada to sell BEBO concrete arch structures in all of Canada except the Atlantic provinces.  BEBO arches have a span of up to 31 metres, which provides Armtec’s customers a broader range of bridge solutions, complementing traditional products such as Bridge-Plate™ and Multi-Plate®. BEBO bridges employ similar installation techniques.

BEBO arch bridges are generally used for water crossings, and can also be used to cross surface roads and paths. Other possible applications include mining tunnels, underground storage vaults and parking garages. The BEBO system is a patented, pre-engineered concrete arch structure for buried applications where the interaction between the soil and the structure provides the strength. BEBO arches are pre-cast and shipped to the site for installation, but can also be installed on site using cast-in-place concrete technology.

Armtec Adds Plastic Pipe Manufaturing Capacity in Alberta
Solidifies position as only national multi-material pipe supplier
April 27, 2006 – Armtec announced it will increase its capacity to manufacture corrugated high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe with the purchase of a linear corrugator for the Lethbridge manufacturing facility in Alberta. The addition of this machine will enable Armtec to produce BOSS products for the growing Alberta market. Large investments in oil and gas and mining sectors, will translate in to government expenditures for building the roads, sewers, water plants, and all the other things needed to serve a growing population. With our new BOSS capacity as well as the recent purchase of Twister pipe in Calgary, we will be in a great position to meet our customers increasing needs.

Once we get the machine installed we will be able to produce BOSS products for the growing Alberta market, and will also have a good location to support growth in the southern BC, Saskatchewan and Manitoba markets as well. Armtec will also be the only company to manufacture both corrugated steel and plastic pipe in Alberta.
