| Platon is a tough, waterproof, dimpled plastic membrane that keeps wet soil away from the foundation wall. Any water that does find its way past the membrane is carried to the foundation drain by means of the air gap between the membrane and the foundation wall. The air gap is created by dimples on the inside of the membrane. As an added benefit, wall moisture condenses on the back of the membrane and flows to the footing drain. This dries out the foundation in a way that no other technology can match. Because Platon is not adhereed to the wall, the wall can shift, crack and settle over the years without affecting Platon’s remarkable performance.
